HIRT SWISS DESCENDING WINDOWS INSPIRE THE WORLD OF ARCHITECTURE IN NEW YORK

The American Institute of Architects’ Conference on Architecture 2018 attracted 800 exhibitors and professionals from around the world to New York in June. The fair provides a platform for presenting key innovative architectural trends – HIRT Swiss Descending Windows presented itself with an impressive showroom.

TRADE FAIR STAND RAISES THE BAR

At the stand of Goldbrecht LLC-Systems, the exclusive distributor of HIRT Swiss Descending Windows in the USA, a new mobile showroom was put to use for the very first time. This showroom was custom made to showcase the descending wall at the A’18.

The interactive exhibition stand of HIRT Swiss Descending Windows set a new standard for trade show presentations aimed to impress. The experience of seeing the Swiss descender wall in action left a mark with visitors.

HIRT SWISS DESCENDING WINDOWS WAS A HIGHLIGHT

The two-story stand allowed the descending wall to be viewed from two angles: The roof of the container gave visitors the perfect vantage point for observing the installed descending wall. At the push of a button, visitors were able to set the descending wall in motion and see for themselves how effortlessly it disappears into the floor without making any noise. Inside the showroom, the working principle of the descending wall was laid open to the public. In short, during the live demonstration, trade fair visitors could see with their own eyes what Swiss quality is all about: impeccable precision workmanship.

The interactive showroom made HIRT Swiss Descending Windows a genuine highlight at the A’18 and one of its most popular exhibition stands. This was also the tenor of the specialist press, including Architect Magazine, which pointed to HIRT Swiss Descending Windows as one of the most innovative trends presented at A’18.

MOBILE SHOWROOM CONTINUES TO DAZZLE

Unlike the fixed two-story installation at BAU Munich in 2017, HIRT was able to present a mobile version of the descending wall with the use of a container. It received a lot of applause at its debut in New York. The descending wall made the journey across the Atlantic. Our participation at the A’18 can be seen as a decisive event for raising awareness of HIRT Swiss Descending Windows in the United States. Goldbrecht LLC-Systems, exclusive distributor in the USA, will leverage this momentum to show American architects and builders how they can create truly innovative solutions with the descending wall – and the movers and shakers at HIRT Swiss Descending Windows in Switzerland are already thinking about building a second container for descending wall presentations in Europe.
